Title: Vintage Knights of Columbus K of C 1/20 12K Gold Filled Single Cufflink — Swank / Baer & Wilde Patent Description: Vintage Knights of Columbus K of C single cufflink featuring the classic red, white, and blue fraternal emblem set on a brushed rectangular gold-filled face. The reverse is clearly marked 1/20 12K GF and bears a small maker’s triangle mark. The toggle arm is stamped PAT. 2,149,132, a cufflink mechanism patent originally issued to Oscar Carlson of Baer & Wilde. This style later falls into the Swank/Baer & Wilde lineage after Swank acquired Baer & Wilde, making this a nice piece of American cufflink manufacturing history as well as a K of C collectable. Sold as a single replacement cufflink, ideal for completing a set, replacing a lost cufflink, or adding to a vintage fraternal jewellery collection. Condition is good, vintage used condition. The enamel front presents well with light surface wear. The back and toggle show age-related finish wear/patina from use. Please review the photos carefully.
