Crisp white ground with a hand-transferred rust-red rooster standing proud on his perch, tiny floral sprays scattered around the body and lid, and a sculpted egg finial on top (a sweet little detail for a rooster jar). Domed lid nests snugly into the jar's collar. Measures approximately 4.5 tall by 3 wide. Backstamped Georgetown Collection by Wedgwood, Chantecler, Made in England. Excellent vintage condition. No chips or cracks. Minor typical wear only. This size is perfect as a covered condiment or spice jar, or simply styled solo on a counter or shelf for instant French country charm.
