Vintage Susan Portra Buffie Bunny Needlepoint Canvas Cal Mar 220 w Guide

A charming vintage needlepoint design from Susan Portra's Minimal Series, titled Buffie Bunny. Marked Cal Mar 220, the canvas features two coordinating versions of the same sweet reclining rabbit, each painted with a completely different pattern and color palette.  One bunny features a soft lavender and gray plaid pattern with a pale blue dotted section and delicate facial details. The second has a more whimsical look with lavender stripes, tiny blue flowers and a large aqua and blue bow at her neck.  The matching silhouettes were designed with versatile finishing possibilities. They could be stitched and joined together to create a two-sided rabbit pillow, or finished individually as two coordinating pieces. Because each rabbit is the same size but has its own distinctive pattern, I think they would make an especially adorable pair of wall hangings.  The original stitch and fiber guide is included.
